Membandingkan ukuran daun dari tumbuhan tertentu

OBSERVATION OF LEAF

OBJECTIVE                                   :
Ø  To compare the size of leaves of certain kinds of plant.
DEVICE AND MATERIAL          :
1)     Paper
2)    Pen
3)    Ruler
4)    ± 20 sheets of rambutan leaves
ACTIVITY                                      :
1)     Measure alternating the length of the length of those rambutan leaves.
2)   Put the data obtained into the table below.

From the data in the table, answer the question below :
1).    Among those 20 sheets of leaves, are there any having the same length?
2).   What the number of the longest leaves of each plant?
3).   How many percent is it of the entire leaves?
4).   Size among those leaves is the largest?
5).   What is the sum of the shortest and the longest leaves? What is the difference?
6).   What consclusion do you get from this activity?
7).   Submit your result of discussing to your teacher!
ANSWER       :
a.     Yes, there are.
b.     Leaf 13
c.     6,849%
d.     17,5 cm
e.     The sum is 6,9 cm + 17,5 cm = 24,4 cm
2).   The difference is 17,5 cm – 6,9 cm = 10,5 cm
a.     Based on explanation above, we can conclude to calculate the length / width of the irregular object can use the measuring tool, such as a ruler or other measuring devices. To calculate the area of the irregular object can be used the extent of the length times the width. To Calculate the area while irregular objects can use the tools of graph paper.
